Yeah, not much to do. This whole thing could still work out okay, but it's going to take some effort. It was an ambitious endeavor that happened at the wrong time.

I'm afraid I haven't heard from him since before any of you (mid-November). I'd hoped to help facilitate the process in an effort to boost transparency, but he said he didn't need any help. He showed the photo of the parts he cast in red & blue, then everything went dark. If I can get the original parts back from him, there's hope we can try something again in the future. Otherwise, those sculpts are pretty much finished.

Yeah, that's clearly something, but I doubt we're gonna hear from him...

I don't think he planned any of this, I just think he got overwhelmed by life. If everything were going well, that was a lot of product to make, too. But communication is key in something like this, and if you can't deliver, send a refund and apologize. It's hard to admit defeat when you're down, though.

Got an update from veteranoftheplasticwars today! He's really been mired in his family's situation dealing with the passing of his father and settling his estate. He said he's working on getting everyone refunded or getting their parts sent.

Interesting . I knew something was not right when he was refunding money. However why then did he say he has sent out parts when clearly nobody has got them. Why not just say " hey I got a life situation going on right now and everyone may have to wait 6 months" .

I hope things go well and may just have to keep waiting

I received essentially the same message as Cyko. While optimistic, I'm not naive enough to fully trust my parts order will arrive. We'll see...

I don't think a shaman or even Father Damien Karras could exorcise the demons the former Slayer/Project ARAH parts seem to carry...

Well, I don't think it would be hard to throw a pm or a message here or there that there are way more time needed for him. There could be many bad stuff that happens, but communication is the key.

paypal refunded my money, still no communication from Veteran

I hope everyone who sent money is getting covered. Since I didn't actually pay him anything, just sent him my one-of-a-kind parts, I guess I'm not getting anything back.
