Interest in cast heads?
The resin is barely cured on the last of my P:ARAH casts, and I'm thinking ahead to the next project.
I'm looking at this thread as a source of future project ideas for OWN, as well as for ideas for our own individual projects. Members here might look at this thread and say, "Hey, I never knew that head was out there. I might want to use that."
I'm looking to see if there is sufficient interest in getting head casts made of various figures. Besides my suggestions below, I'm also looking for ideas of good heads that are out there from non-Joe toylines that we may want to have done here.
At this point the only items that would be off the table would be unique sculpts made by others in the collecting community (such as Nova's stuff), or stuff that we only have access to as casts from previous projects (such as Project 95), unless we obtain permission to use them.
Maybe besides the below someone in the group has some sculpting talent and can take one of our Rambo heads and sculpt some Rocky hair on it? I'd be happy to donate a Rambo head or two to someone if they feel they can do it.
$5 for each head for OWN members?
If we get 6 or more people to say "Yeah, I want _______," then I'll make a mold of _______. No money changes hands until casts are done.
Thoughts?
NOW AVAILABLE!! Red Shadows and Bronze Bomber Cool Breeze
https://oring.forumotion.com/t155-billy-and-friends-heads-and-pockets#1711
Red Shadows
Bronze Bomber Cool Breeze
What I have in my collection that may be of interest:
The 1997 Bronze Bombers, specifically the four with non-goofy expressions.
Or, heck, if there was enough interest, the four with goofy expressions too.
Ninja Commando Storm Shadow
Star Brigade Falcon
Convention Interrogator
Ninja Force Zartan, but with mohawk removed (as used for my pre-Zartan hitman pictured here)
Martial Master from Remco American Forces
Generic USS Flagg sailor - no pic handy
Flash head with Shipwreck hat, ball joint head (I received a few of these in a bulk lot years ago. No idea who made them. I'm considering them to be in the public domain unless someone says otherwise.)
Others I'm aware of that may be good, but I don't own:
Remco biker dude (my buddy is actually casting this, I believe)
Bronze Bomber Mapman Jackson
Bronze Bomber Sure Fire
Power Commandos
UPDATED June 11, 2016 with more ideas:
Bronze Bomber Wayne Alexander
Movie Vega with hair removed
Updated June 30, 2016 with more:
Unifighters!
Updated March 12, 2017:
Adventure Man
Fearless Forces
National Defense
Any other good heads out there?

I love all the bronze bomber heads. I am planning on doing a group of African militia team and these heads are great.

Those unproduced figures look amazing! I'd vote for those two, but otherwise all of these look cool.

Re: Interest in cast heads?
I've always liked the Remco biker dude, but I wouldn't need tons of him. And the Power Commandos are wacky, but Mummy Man and not-Undertow are pretty cool. I keep thinking I'll chase the Bronze Bomber Wayne Alexander (the sailor) but never get him on eBay. That Red Shadow ball-neck conversion would be nice to see cast!
Re: Interest in cast heads?
I'd go for those prototypes and the red shadow.

Re: Interest in cast heads?
I'd love to have casts of all these heads, especially the Mummy Mask from Power Commandos. I actually almost paid $40 just for that head a while back but I passed on it because paying that much for a single head is out of my price range
I really love discovering G.I. Joe compatible figures, recently I stumbled across these and I have been looking for examples of them since but they seem to be ultra rare toys. http://www.yojoe.com/archive/actfig/medecins.shtml

Re: Interest in cast heads?
So I picked up Bronze Bomber Cool Breeze with the intent to cast his head as, for a non-Hasbro sculpt, it's quite good.
However, in person the head is just a bit big. It doesn't look too bad on Roadblock's torso, but it can stick out on other torsos.
Anyway, would anyone be interested in a cast for $5? If I can sell at least 4 casts, I'm happy to do it.

I would be interested, however I would want a group of all the bronze bombers. Do you have the other figure heads. Looking to make a Africa militia group. Let me know

Re: Interest in cast heads?
OK, I will officially be casting Mr. Bronze Bomber Cool Breeze. I'll hopefully have him available when the Billy casts are ready to go in a few weeks.
I do have the 8 Bronze Bombers from 1997. They are on the to-do list.
I do not have any more of the 1988 Bombers.
If anyone has any of the 1988s and would be willing to lend them, I'd be happy to cast them for the group.

Added National Defense. These are just this side of decent sculpts in my opinion. I do have the guy with the eyepatch -- second to last from the right.
