Mortal Kombat Flawless Victory

These are my mortal kombat custom o ring figures I have been working on. My favorite game growing up was Mortal Kombat 3 for Sega Genesis. When Hasbro released the o ring figures back in the 90s I remember loving them but was very disappointed when I realized that some of my favorite characters would not be a part of my battles and fights. Well over 20 years later and my favorite characters are now joining the eternal fight for glory. I have for you some of my favorite characters along with my custom diorama playset. For more info and recipes on each character you can see them over at joecustoms.com. I have to say a lot of sculpting and thought when in to some of these characters, others not so much. But I am proud to say each is made with ARAH parts and all are o ring including Motaro and shao kahn. Now I know not all characters look like they do in the games or movies, however neither did the 9os versions. I did my own take on some of the characters, while others I left be and created how they look in the game. This is only my first series of MK figures . Once I get more parts and fodder I will be creating my second series of characters. ( I actually have already started) Series 2 I will have Sektor, Cyrax, Ermac, Nightwolf, Sindel, Lu Kang, Shang tsung,. But for now , enjoy these. Hopefully I scored a Flawless Victory.

Very creative work! Kids may be idiots, but the original figures just weren't very good. Something like this would've sold so much better.

Did you get any of your ideas from him? Your Motaro is exactly like his and your kahn is very similar...

I actually did get the idea from this guy. I tried contacting him on the exactrecipe for figures but I figured it out. I will say I take alot of inspiration from other customizers

Same here. The Customs Oringverse are a source of inspiration.

I hadn't comment yet, but that Shao Kahn is awesome!
