Convention Rip-It
Finally got one. And with him my 2007 "Tanks for the Memories" convention package is finally complete.
Now all I need are Headhunter Driver, Shockwave, Longarm and Bullhorn from the 2008 convention line. Plus Crimson Baroness and nine Crimson Vipers from 2002 and my convention packages will be complete
After them Ill likely troop build most of the Convention troops up to about 12, including a customized Officer.

Re: Convention Rip-It
Need to borrow my sisters camera sometime
Rip-It is one of the prices figures on the secondary market. He's like $160. I lucked out and found one for 2/3rds that. Shouldnt have to pay so damn much for one figure. But completism is a harsh mistress

Why do you think I stick to mostly LBC's? I don't have the desterity or patience for that.

Can't argue with that. And you're right that completism is a harsh mistress. But look at it this way: if you didn't spend that money on this, then you might spend it on booze and smokes. That's what I tell my wife whenever I get a new package in the mail: hey, I could be down at the bar instead.

Re: Convention Rip-It
At least it's out of the way, Also got the two most expensive figures, Headhunter Driver and Bullhorn with Christmas money. Hella expensive. $279 for both, talked down from $310. Once you drop that muc, paying $30 - $60 seems pretty insignificant now
I have Convention Shockwave on the way. When I get him Ill finally have completed all the o-ringed Convention figures from 2002 till 2010
But that won't end my convention collecting. I still plan on troop building untill I have 12 of each type. And will pick up other figures again for customs
